How does the customization process work?

Upload your photo, share any ideas you have, and our artists will transform it into a one-of-a-kind Casa Mimido piece — interpreted in our signature style.

Will my piece look exactly like my photo?

Not exactly — and that’s part of the magic.
Each piece is an artistic interpretation, not a replica. We capture the essence, not every detail.

Can I request specific details or changes?

Each Casa Mimido piece is a surprise created by our artists 🤍

We don’t offer fully directed or detail-specific customization — instead, we use your photo as inspiration and transform it into our signature Casa Mimido style.

This means your piece may not match every detail exactly, but will capture the feeling and charm in a unique, artistic way ✨

If you’re looking for a highly precise or fully controlled result, our style may not be the best fit — but if you love a little surprise, you’re in the right place 💭

Can I preview or approve the design before production?

At this time, we don’t offer previews before production.
Each piece is created directly by our artists to keep the process efficient and true to the creative flow.

PRODUCTS & PRODUCTION

How are the products made?

Each piece begins with a custom 3D design based on your photo. It is then 3D printed and carefully hand-painted by our artists, making every item truly one of a kind.

Are there imperfections in the product?

Yes — and they’re part of what makes each piece unique.
Our toys are handcrafted and hand-painted, so slight variations, tiny bubbles, or subtle paint marks may occur.
These are natural characteristics of handmade art pieces and do not affect quality or durability.

Are your products waterproof?

Our figures can handle light, accidental exposure to water, such as small splashes. However, we recommend keeping them dry and avoiding prolonged moisture or submersion, as it may affect the structure or painted details over time. For best preservation, display your piece in a dry environment.

What if my figure accidentally drops from a height? Can it be fixed?

Our figures are made from resin and should be handled with care. In the event of accidental damage, minor repairs can typically be done using a suitable adhesive(such as a strong craft glue). For best results, we recommend handling your piece gently to preserve its original form.

Can I use my Custom Mimido as a bag charm?

Yes ✨ Every Custom Mimido includes a bag charm attachment to give you more ways to enjoy your piece.

Because Custom Mimido figures are individually 3D printed in resin and come in a variety of poses and designs, some may not stand securely on flat surfaces. The attachment allows you to hang your piece, display it more easily, or take it with you if you'd like.

That said, resin is a delicate material and should be handled with care. While many Custom Mimido pieces can be enjoyed as bag charms, some designs may feature more intricate outfits, finer details, or delicate elements that are more vulnerable to impact. For these pieces, displaying them in a safe indoor space may help preserve their condition over time.

How long does production take?

Custom pieces typically take 2–4 weeks to produce. Timing may vary depending on order volume and complexity.

Why does a custom Mimido take time to create?

Every Mimido begins with your photo ✨

Each piece is individually designed, sculpted in 3D, printed, color-matched, and carefully hand-painted by our artists.

The hands-on creation process alone requires over 10 hours of work, spread across multiple stages that cannot be rushed. Between design, printing, curing, painting, and finishing, each step must be completed before the next can begin.

We take our time with every piece because we believe something made just for you deserves that care.

If I’m ordering as a gift for a specific date, when should I place my order?

We recommend ordering at least 7–8 weeks in advance to allow enough time for production and delivery. Since each piece is handcrafted, timelines may vary, so we always suggest ordering early for special occasions.
If you have a specific deadline, feel free to contact us before placing your order.

CHANGES & RETURNS

Can I cancel or change my order?

You can request a cancellation or make changes within 24 hours of placing your order.

After this window, your piece may already be in production — which means changes or cancellations might not be possible.

If you’re unsure about anything, feel free to reach out before ordering — we’re always happy to help 🤍

Can I return or exchange a custom item?

No — all custom-made items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Because our toys are made-to-order and personalized based on your uploaded photos, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds once an order has been placed. This policy ensures we can maintain the highest quality and care in crafting your exclusive item.

Can I return non-custom items?

Yes — non-custom items may be eligible for return according to our Return Policy. Please refer to our Return Policy page for full details and conditions.

What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?

Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and photos. We’ll review and make it right.

Do you ship internationally?

Will everything in my order ship together?

Yes — orders containing custom items will ship together once everything is ready.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping typically takes 8–14 business days after production. Delivery times may vary by location.

Will I need to pay customs or duties?

Depending on your country, additional taxes or duties may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.

What if my package is lost or stolen?

Once a package is marked as delivered, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please ensure your shipping address is correct and secure.

Can I change my shipping address?

If your order hasn’t shipped yet, contact us as soon as possible. Once shipped, we cannot make changes.
