MATERIALS & CRAFTSMANSHIP

Each Casa Mimido piece is individually crafted using high-quality resin through an extensive 3D printing and finishing process.

Over time, we have tested more than 20 different resin formulas and conducted countless drop and durability experiments in search of the best possible balance between detail, finish, and strength. The material we currently use is the result of that process — our most reliable and resilient combination so far.

Every piece is carefully finished by hand, making each creation slightly unique in its own way.

DURABILITY & HANDLING

While our resin formula is designed to be more durable than standard resin, highly detailed sculptural art pieces will always require thoughtful handling.

Due to the delicate nature of the doll’s structure, thinner areas such as the neck, limbs, hair strands, or sharper details may remain more vulnerable under strong impact. The likelihood of damage can vary depending on many factors, including the height of a fall, surface contact, angle of impact, and overall force applied.

Although we continuously refine our materials and production methods, no highly detailed resin art piece can be considered completely unbreakable.

To help preserve your piece over time, we recommend handling it gently and avoiding drops, strong pressure, or high-impact contact whenever possible.

REPAIR

One of the advantages of resin is that most clean breaks can usually be repaired.

For accidental damage such as detached parts or small fractures, a strong adhesive or super glue is typically sufficient. We recommend applying only a very small amount to avoid overflow or visible residue.

After carefully reconnecting the broken sections, allow the adhesive to fully cure before handling the piece again.

If you are unsure how to repair your piece, feel free to contact us — we may be able to offer basic repair guidance depending on the situation.

    DISPLAY & STORAGE

Casa Mimido pieces are designed not only as collectible art pieces, but also as companions that can be carried and enjoyed as part of your everyday expression — whether attached to a bag, keys, or personal accessories. Normal day-to-day use is completely fine, and we encourage you to take your companion with you.

When not in use, we recommend storing or displaying your piece in a stable indoor environment away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat, or high humidity. Extended exposure to extreme conditions — such as being left outdoors for long periods or inside enclosed spaces like parked cars under direct sunlight — may affect the resin material over time, including possible softening or deformation.

For added safety, each piece includes a built-in hook along with a complimentary keyring attachment, allowing the figure to be hung or secured when not in use. Hanging your piece in a dedicated display area may help reduce the risk of accidental falls compared to placing it freely on unstable surfaces.

If displayed on a flat surface, we recommend choosing a secure and stable location where the piece is less likely to be accidentally knocked over or shifted.

    CLEANING

Dust can be gently removed using a soft dry cloth or a soft brush.

Please avoid soaking the piece in water or using alcohol-based cleaners, harsh chemicals, or abrasive materials, as these may affect the surface finish over time.

    NATURAL VARIATIONS

Due to the handcrafted finishing process, subtle variations, tiny surface marks, or minor texture differences may naturally occur between pieces.

These small details are considered part of the individuality and character of each creation, making every Casa Mimido piece uniquely its own.

    AGING & CHARACTER

Like many collectible art pieces, resin figures may naturally develop subtle signs of aging over time.

Environmental factors such as heat, prolonged sunlight exposure, humidity, storage conditions, and overall handling may gradually affect the material over the years. In some cases, natural aging characteristics such as fine lines, slight surface changes, or small cracks may appear over time as part of the resin’s lifecycle.

With proper care and thoughtful storage, your piece can remain beautifully preserved for many years to come.

We believe these gentle changes become part of the story and charm of the piece as it lives alongside you.
